We received this email letter from Loice Kokanyi, South Sudan, relaying the Grace of God at the "ARISE WOMEN CONFERENCE". Your help made this possible. Dear My Encourager/Spiritual father,Dr Dwaine/Joanne Lee, My family sends you our heart felt Christmas Celebrations which is the Revelation of God,s love for us,John 3:l6. We wish you a blessed new year 20l4. The Arise women conference went well. More than 800 women attended. More than 50 men young and old attended the conference also. 20 people received Christ as their personal savior. Three broken families were reunited, including one woman who married a Christian but persisted to remain a Moslem. ln this conference this woman received Christ as personal savior amidst tears. The husband who contemplated suicide too received Christ. The family became a new family in Christ. The speakers came from Uganda. Two women Grace and Sarah who brought their experience of family life to the conference in their teaching and testimonies. One is Rev Dr Canon Milton Anguyo who holds a PHD in Marriage. There was literally real change and transformation taking place in the conference, with some saying this was never taught since Christianity touched the land of Sudan in l820. Many thanked the GLOBAL ACTION lNTERNATIONAL for the aid to support the conference that completed without debts. They thanked your wife, Mrs Joanne Lee, for standing with the South Sudan women who have been oppressed by tradition and lslamic laws. Many suicide cases have been noted because the families lacked biblical counselling. This conference is raising solutions to this need of families. Thanks Loice/Tom Kokanyi South Sudan
